Some endings are sad and pathetic. The finality of it all overwhelms the person, encasing them in angry grief for days. A pity unlike no other takes over and well, bad things happen.
Okay, that’s a tad bit dramatic. Remember, I am a movie fan, so I heighten the theatrics whenever I can. The truth is that the final entertainment segment on The Large Morning Show in The Afternoon with Frank O. Pinion was another occasion where laughs were frequent, recommendations were passed out, and good times were had by all.
We talked movies, television shows, and what’s going on in our lives like there was no end. It wasn’t a sad bomb shelter of remorse; more like a rugged crew of misfits who didn’t mind that this was the end. In the end, it’s just a chapter in the conversation that Frank has put up for decades. It’s not over.
For the time being, keep an eye on the Facebook page for future updates. When a new home is found, that will be the first place news is broke. Stay tuned.
Frank and company will be back. In the meantime, go find a great old film and enjoy it all over again. I’ve had enougha for the time being, but I’ll be back.
