The Frank O. Pinion Entertainment Segment, Episode #69: ‘Palm Springs’ is a winning blend of romance and comedy

This week on The Large Morning Show in The Afternoon, the callers played a big part in the segment.

There were multiple Jims, a couple of ladies, and a few others that wanted to offer their latest fascination on the tube or get a take on something related to the world of entertainment. There was even a small bit about the prospects of sports returning to the field.

The main review was the Hulu Original film, “Palm Springs,” starring Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti, and J.K. Simmons. A time loop romantic comedy about a wedding day set to repeat for three unfortunate people, whose lives mix due to an Earthquake revealing an area in the desert where your future literally disappears at the end of each day.

Samberg and Milioti made the film work, and Simmons brought his own dazzle to the project. A satisfying film if you like a little science fiction with your happily-ever-after puzzle.
