The Frank O. Pinion Radio Movie Dose: More ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ please (AUDIO)

When it comes to anything Marvel or superhero-like, the jury is pretty much out on Frank O. Pinion watching that movie.

Movie-watching and consumption is a choice after all, so no one can blame him for not preferring to watch a car fly through three skyscrapers or a masked man save the day with a laser or hammer.

This week, I reviewed the new “Fast & Furious” spin-off flick, “Hobbs & Shaw,” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham. Basically, a superhero film without the capes and superpowers. Just two guys falling from buildings and crashing into a cyber-enhanced bad guy hoping to save the day in the end. You know, normal hero stuff.

While Tim Woodburn noted the trailer had the kind of jokes he didn’t care for and Frank was oblivious to its existence, I gave the film a high rating. Three and a half protein shakes out of four.

Here’s the full segment.
