This week, I was back on The Large Morning Show in the Afternoon after a one week hiatus. Accompanied by my muscle, the seven-year-old Vinny in the lobby, I took to the studio with a plan to do a mix of television and movies.
Right off the bat, Frank mentioned HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” and the segment took off. Everyone in the room had their take on the big battle at Winterfell, and the best and worst parts of the episode. Hint: there weren’t any bad parts. If there’s one thing the show does the best, it is getting casual people to talk immensely about a single episode while declaring it’s not awesome. Nice try.
Next, I dove into the latest Marvel gem, “Avengers: Endgame.” The culmination of 21 films inside one extremely enjoyable three hour flick which I have seen three times. While Frank probably won’t see it, I raved about it, and tried to explain the plot as best I could.
There was a television review of HBO’s “Barry,” which comes on after “Thrones,” and some other newsy type items.
Here’s the listening link.
