This week, on The Large Morning Show in the Afternoon, I talked movies and television with Frank O. Pinion and company.
I reviewed Captain Marvel, the new Marvel Cinematic Universe entry, which marks the 21st film in the phase. Brie Larson, Jude Law, and Annette Bening star in the action adventure tale. While I enjoyed it, I didn’t love it.

My take on the Steven Spielberg/Netflix controversy was given. Quite frankly, he needs to quiet down.
In casting news, I want to confirm that Will Smith is playing Richard Williams, father of Serena and Venus, and not Richard Simmons. Sometimes, you get tongue-tied on the radio.
A deep tease for the new action thriller, Triple Frontier, was laid down. Opening in theaters this week and on Netflix next week, the new Ben Affleck film is taut and very satisfying as well as a quietly powerful ode to retired military operatives struggling to make ends meet.
Here is the link to listen to. Come back here each week for a new radio segment.
